Shipping downers!

Is it just me, or have all packages coming from Europe seem to have been kicked from Europe to USA? I have been reconsidering my purchase of case lots of rations from Europe because the last few shipments I've received have looked like they were kicked here from Europe.

Yikes! Dang man, that stinks. I've had some that were a little rough around the edges when they got here, but were packaged well and the contents were fine. I've never had anything quite like that yet though. How did the contents fare?

What ever happend at/to USPS in December, but all parcels I have sent December to US are either have arrived like yours - cut/burst open, soaked etc... - or are missing. At least I have to report 3 parcels missing by now.
As they are en route by now +7 weeks I guess they went by ship
As they are all soaked - I guess the ship sank.
And these, they have arrived got obviously recovered from the ground of the Atlantic Ocean...

Lol, the pic says it all...
A lot of the mains look like the one above. The case of EPA's took serious damage but only 1 leak so far. The case of IRP's took 3 months to deliver from Moscow and took heavy damage as well, but I've only opened 2 so far. Major dents but no leaks yet. I try to buy case lots to reduce per unit cost, but the packages are so heavy the shippers handle them carelessly. I think I'm gonna go back to buying a cpl at a time. The lighter parcels fare much better.

I have an online store and ship hard parts worldwide. Much of the damages you see nowadays are caused by conveyors. Conveyors get jammed up and shred parcels. So much is now automated, there may be no one around to un-jam the parcels, at least before the damage is done. Also blame conveyors for "lost" parcels. If the address label gets shredded, that's the end of the road for that parcel.
Most all of the big sorting facilities are now automated. Machines don't need coffee breaks, sick days, benefits, or pay raises. Sad but true.

At least I got a letter from DHL Germany about all me missing reports yesterday.
They apologize for the very delayed delivering - what is still in progress! Due to a strike of Lufthansa Cargo in November/December all parcels got "detoured" by a ship... (I was just kidding about that

) Three of the nine I have sent have arrived recently - all in this bad, outer, shape

Comedy is all about timing, but I just realized an alternative subject for this thread could be "shipping drowners"

They just make the software, the fees come from the retailer and other "middle men" like PayPal. They also make the software for the USPS.
