Ration Residue

So the other day i was back where i did my first Russian ration review, and the place where i cooked the entrees (and spilled all over the place) there was some residue on the ground.

It looks like the fat from one of the entrees that spilled, but was hard like wax.

Animals had eaten the other scraps i spilled by the next morning, but these lumps were still there

Ill get a pic next time im back, there are no other people who go there i am pretty sure its from the ration, has anyone else ended up with a kind of waxy residue from spilled entrees?
