Bro, I know exactly what you are talking about. Lol. The other day I enjoyed a French RCIR and didn't review it at all. Not even a pic of the contents. Felt guilty for a little bit.

On a side note, what did you think of the ration?

Glad im not the only one :)

I love it, besides being fresher that some of the items in my kitchen it is super well though out and executed.

Been munching on components of one that was opened at the show, oatmeal is fantastic, cookies are great not too sweet or dry, Accessory packs are perfect. Tortillas ohh man yeah good tortillas love the no fold.

I love that you have water in there still, its a big deal for me sometimes just to have some ready, just enough for a drink or using in tea and oatmeal.

I have the entrees with me for lunch today, and the fire kit i plan on testing tonight. Then ill do a full review of a sealed up one.

Shoot...just this past weekend, I must have had (parts of) 5 different IMP's and 4 different 1991 MREs...and I didn't review a single one. After the first twinge of non-review guilt, I just went with the feeling I was doing something naughty...and enjoying every minute of it. :-)

I echo Kman on this one....sometimes you just gotta be naughty and enjoy the ration for itself. No focus on the camera, no worry about how you're gonna describe the taste and texture, just you and your ration, enjoying for you're own pleasure...

YES, definitely! I am guilty of this as well. Sometimes it's nice to just enjoy the simplicity of eating a good ration without having to worry about any work going along with a review, photo/video, etc. It does feel a little strange, like secret squirrel kind of stuff.

Awesome! Glad you like them. Have already made improvements for this next run. They will include dental kit, water purification tabs, drink bags, and an FRH. The Military version will be freeze dried entrees. Should have some samples of those in the next few weeks.

This is something I am guilty of on a regular basis. Get a new ration to try. Dive into it only to realize I didn't take pics for a review.
