Last Monday I went to the Citadel in Poznan for a walk and to visit the Weapon Museum. On Monday it was the National Army Day, by the way.
The old citadel is a huge park now with remains of old walls and museums.
Here you have some pictures from the Poznan Army and Weapon museums, all is dated WW2 or later

Cool pictures! It's awesome they keep safe that bicycle it's Wehrmacht bike Truppenfahrrad I think, but it seems an older model from the end of the 30's - not sure though. Above PPSH it's PPS-43 just beautiful weapon and german STG44 on the right.

I like the place it has little of everything.

there are more weapons or weapons parts in the museum, also some uniforms like these Some of the weapons or e.g. telephone devices are displayed, but I had some problems with photos ( no sufficient light)

WH uniforms still looks stylish and I love that big Panzer beret, nowadays only French mountain troops wear ridiculous big berets. BTW sorry about my previous post and writing bycicle instead of bicycle...

I wonder about that left shoulder double V is it a rank or 5+5 years of service, all that is so messed up with Germans it's hard to know. Next time you visit museum check for homemade Polish resistance weapons that would be insane to see if they have any.

Awesome Album! Neat how they have a field kitchen at the museum. Speaking of field kitchens, you can buy them! Granted they may be expensive but the benefit can outweigh the cost if you go camping with 15+ people

It´s the rank.
A single "V" was a "Gefreiter" private (E-2), the doubled "V" is an Obergefreiter, a PFC (E-3).

Thanks for the answer that's really interesting but I'm more confused then I was before because this right sleeves vs left sleeves V signs. I like the subject and I like to learn new stuff like this.Like when I found out Germans had short jackets to appear more tall then they are. When you think about it they made that "invention" 80 years ago... amazing. Still don't know is it urban legend or what. But they looked awesome, both in feldgrau or camoufage (also amazing camo inventions for that time and used even today in almost all variations).

I'm still amazed Poznan museum have planes like that and in the open ground. Too bad the guys who used that Polish RAF where obliterated when war ended and they came back home.

Well I have to say that the items in museum, which are placed inside building look fine, the items under the roof are ok, guns/tanks as well, but the planes don't look very good-they should be renovated. some items from 1939 war, the gun is a famous Polish VIS, it was found in a river There are also 2 missiles the first one is a part of SCUD-A, the second is an anti-aircraft missile, both are big things

But that Invention was made due to the shortage of supplies

That´s right. Germany was the very first country that could print colored patterns on clothing. That knowledge helped our industry after WW2 a lot to come back into business.
