Looks like Norge hasn't been back since Tue Jul 09, 2013, and TurtleNomad hasn't popped up in a long time - since Tue Nov 06, 2012 when he mentioned voting. I haven't been in touch with either through PMs or anything. Here's hoping they both wander back some day

I was just thinking about members we have not heard from in awhile and for some reason I recall flankertanker, the rations reviewer from the UK whom I mentioned who does the rations from other countries, as being a fairly regular visitor here in forums at some point in the past. Although I cannot find him in the members section.

A search only shows three instances of flankertanker being mentioned - this post, the recent post where you mentioned him yesterday, and a post last June where you mentioned him. Doesn't look like he's a member here unless he goes by a different name and isn't noticing when you ask about his YouTube profile.

No i have not snowed in or down, just been COLD about 34celsius minus...
and have been working way to much, been promoted as a team leader
at my job so i have to do loads more since i gott to look after more
people and do controls on work and so on.
so this one of many reasons i havent had time to do reviews and other things
and the kids at home need time in the evenings when i gett home
if i dont work away on the build sites in the weeks,i just have the weekends for
them and my wife..
so the ration hobby comes in second at the moment.

cheers ken,norway

btw i have contact with one of my friends in the royal marines close to one of the build sites

We tend to have winter storms here in western Massachusetts, but rarely are they accompanied by the incredible cold that norge and many of our MRE forums members in Europe deal with. Of course our TV news people love to hype up any weather event and make it sound 10 times worse.
