I was at a gunshow recently and came across some .308 stripper clips on a table, the seller told me that they were rare and were made for the U.S. M14 rifle. I did some checking with a few on-line sites, namelyhttp://www.fredsm14stocks.com and found out that the only stripper clips ever made for the M14 were 5-rounders. If there are any M-14 or FAL shooters here in forums, would they know if the 10 rounders were only made for FAL (in which case not a U.S. part)? thanks for any help. BTW the clips work fine with the mag loader for my FAL.

AFAIK, 5 round clips were the only choice for the M14, although delinking M-60 belts was very common.
Any markings on the clips?

Thanks for reply dirtbag! I don't see any markings on the clips, but I'm wondering if they might actually be FAL/L1A1 stripper clips or maybe HK91 strippers?

Could be, I have no knowledge of the FAL or HK.

dirtbag, I just found a box of stripper clips that I had stored awhile back that are identical to the ones I asked about and they are still sealed, the box says New Century NcSTAR.
