I had one of those:

Very poor quality, very poor vision. It looked like one of these Super 8 film cameras from the 1970th...

That is the one I meant, but I cannot recall alot of details about it. Just curious housil, did you ever have any kind of health problems or symptoms from using it? I'm thinking it was probably long term exposure that would produce the health issues, but it goes to show the low value that the communists placed on their soldiers' lives.

Thx to God - no!

The vision was too poor to keep it. The optics decreased by 1.5 and everything seems like a fish eye lense so I sold it at Ebay to some other poor dude...

Would anyone happen to know if there is a pouch that was issued with the M22 binoculars?

I can't seem to find any pictures of them if there are.

Worth bringing this topic to the fore. Anyway, my Steiner binoculars can be seen here, within the kit: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1855
