Let's see: emergency medicine, mountaineering, rock climbing, scuba diving, off-roading, mountain & urban Search & Rescue, foreign languages, rations... I'm not bored at all. :D

BTW, what is "soccer"?

Well.... I couldn`t say I`m not interested in soccer, but I`m not a fan either. Here in Spain, football means pollitics and if you are member of this or that football team it means your political colours. Example:

Real Madrid aka "merengues" (a kind of a sweet) = right side (conservative)
Atletico Madrid aka "colchoneros" (mattress makers) = left side (social democrats)
F.C. Barcelona aka "culés" (arses) = pro independentism
Español aka "periquitos" (parrots) = catalonians who are proud of being spanish
Sevilla = they hate Betis fans
Betis = they hate Sevilla fans

and the list goes on... Me, as I said, I`m not much interested in soccer. I find it boring. I mean there`s more action in other sports like basket, but soccer... let`s say that A passes the ball to B, B passes the ball, to C, C passes the ball to D and D passes the ball again to player A.

All the best, people.

It is not so political here in germany in soccer but there are rivals like my club HSV has a rivalry with "Werder"Bremen and the other big football club of Hamburg, "FC St. Pauli" which is from the district "St. Pauli" in Hamburg.

And by the way ak70g: I think soccer isn´t as big in Romania as in other countries, but I know that the two big romanian teams "Steaua Bucarest" and "Rapid Bucarest" already played an play in the Europe league.
I was in the stadium in Hamburg as we lost a Europe league match against "Rapid Bucarest"... :|

Here in the U.S., our military academies have football teams, so I'm curious if military academies in Spain, Germany, and other countries in the forums have teams as well, or for soccer.

Unfortunately, romanian teams lost their appetite for victory. Long gone is the "Golden Generation", Hagi, the King of Galatasaray, Gica Popescu, Dan Petrescu, Sabau, the new generations are much more fond for money, nightclubs and tabloids.
