Heh heh...that's pretty funny. But they really should have changed the bag color to Salmon. After all, you don't want Osama to get in the habit of picking up unexploded bomblets in the dessert just because they're the same color as these food packets. Oh...wait a minute....

New Automated Feeding Station Unveiled

NATICK, Mass. -- Hot food for tomorrow's hungry soldiers -- all automated.

Food technologists at the Natick Soldier Center’s Combat Feeding Directorate displayed their new prototype for a totally automated feeding station which dispenses hot food in the field. The feeding station, which has built-in trailer wheels, can be delivered, set up and fully operational in under sixty minutes.

New Radio Frequency ID (RFID) dog tags to be worn by tomorrow's soldiers will alert the new feeding station to special dietary requirements and known food allergies so the unit can automatically select the appropriate meal.

paratrooper

Ha, in addition to some previous fun:

Did you guys knew that North- and South Dakota used to be one state :?:

Appearently somewhere during the sixties a class of paratroopers was training for their HALO jumps. During one jump, early morning, one of the paratroopers' chute was malfunctioning and wouldn't open. So he fell tumbling down to earth at an increasing speed, not able to open his malfunctioning chute. As he crashed onto the earth somewhere in the middle of Dakota, he come down so hard it shook the earth and cracked Dakota into two pieces -> North and South Dakota.
