I like the simple the better. the Leatherman Core is one of them.

Also the original multitool, my old trusty 89' Victorinox Champion...
mine has got plenty beatings since I got it in Zurich 22 years ago and it keeps on ticking.

I took this from the web though....lol
But the thing is this, in a survival sutiation is good to have multiple knives. You can't rely only on the multitool specially of a blade or any other component gets broken it can render the knife useless....

I also carry this one too....made by Victorinox for the Bundeswehr. :D

I always carry a Bundeswehr Einhandmesser with me when I´m on duty. Neat tool which really has quite some uses, doesn´t matter if you´ve got to open an EPA main entree or a packet of papers. ^^
Too bad I´m not allowed to carry it when I´m off duty because it´s a forbidden item to carry but once I´m done with the Army I´ll "lose" mine and will modify it so I´m allowed to carry it.
Other than that I don´t really need another multi-tool, the Bw pocket knife is mostly enough.

I'd treasure that core if I were you, as leatherman has discontinued it.

Although it's not really all that different from the Super Tool 300 from the looks of it.

Do you mean it's forbidden or even verboten (much worst! ) to carry a pocket knife in Germany???

What is not known, will not worry. I ALWAYS have an Victorinox Huntsman in my pocket. I don't leave home without it. Even for going at the street corner, to buy bread.
