Good work Kato!

Just in case anyone is interested it appears the Syfy Channel is now airing episodes of The Green Hornet. Im guessing its in response to the Green Hornet movie coming out.

Does anyone else think television was so much better way back when?
"FIND THE BASTARDS, THEN PILE ON" - Standing Order of Col. George S. Patton Jr., C.O. 11th ACR.

"We may find in the long run that tinned food is a deadlier weapon than the machine-gun" - George Orwell.

Yes, I do. I watched a lot of early TV shows that were really good back in the 70's and the early 80's. Nowadays nothing on TV is really worth watching unless you catch a re-run or something on TV Land.

Well.. I love the modern miniseries.. like band of brothers, generation kill, the pacific (well that one kinda.. well.. it wasn't as good as i expected)..

But.. I'd almost kill someone to have series like tour of duty aired again.. I loved it as a kid.
Or miami vice..
Sure, someone may one day kill me with my own gun.
But they'll have to beat me to death with it because it's empty.

Cracker,

I did see "Tour of Duty" when I was stil back in high school. I loved it but then lost track when I went on active duty. Seems the series started going off in different directions and last episode I saw it was like a soap opera.

Though when I was in college in 2001 I did catch the "Band of Brothers" mini series. I thought that was exceptional! :D

We only had 1 or 2 seasons aired in the Netherlands, back in the time I was a kid..
I wasn't allowed to watch programs like the powerrangers (as a really little kid) by my mother.. but my dad used to record tour of duty on the VCR..

Back in the old times...
