Where do you find military surplus and how do you check it out to be sure it's the (genuine item) real McCoy?
Thanks!

Military surplus which country? I get Romanian military items (clothing) directly from the manufacturer. For small items (like compasses, so on) I have some friends in the military which can "get" for me, but I have to wait.

Ebay, surplus/military stores, and I can buy at the German Army (Bundeswehr)
"quartermaster"
To make sure it´s genuine, I´ll check the labels (asking for pic´s) and you should know what item was issued and what not. Very often seller´s try to sale any "Mil-look-crap" and at least, you can smell it

A I never was with the mountain troops - I don´t know for sure.
But as it is sold a the LHD - it´s issued.
RÄER is a nice and unexpansive shop, but their delivering times (>3weeks) and service (no reply on emails or phone) can be challenge to your patience...

Have an eye always at
->ebay.de<-
Browse thrue
->this too<-
Do NOT buy if it say´s "MIL-TEC". They are crap. It´s the own brand of a Military Store, very common over here for low budget but low budget means low quality always! MIL-TEC copies all kind of military clothing and equipment. We call it "Müll-Tec" ("trash-tec"

)
If you doesn´t want to spend €159-179 for a Lowa, Maindl or Haix, try this:
Genuine Bundeswehr 2006 Model for
->"just" €60<- and genuine
2008 Model for ->€80<-
