For out US friends, what you expect fron Nov 2 election? Your coloured fellow from White House (I hope Housil will be pleased) blown US economy with grace, I'm thinking to apply for Green Card Lottery and come to US to show him how you can properly blow up a country. Our president, Baselu' the Sailor and his aide-de-camp prime minister Boc did a hell of a job here.

What do I expect?
I expect a 100% turnout for obviously the (2nd) most important election in my lifetime and by extension many others elsewhere as well.
How Americans vote tomorrow (and then follow up with those same individuals concerning drastic spending cuts) will affect the entire world for generations to come (and obviously that's no exaggeration).
The (again, 2nd most important) results tomorrow will pretty much cast in cement our entire society in terms of what Americans realize and how many of us even really care if we do ('sacrifice' was never really brought up in the campaigns...which speaks volumes to the former and latter).

For my consern I hope that it will be an Republican.
As a European sportshooter, the prices are mostly influenced by the USA.
High demand for ammo in the US?
Empty shelves and high prices here..
New ITAR rules?
Less choice in Europe.. and prices of stuff like Trijicon are about double the price that they cost in the US.. Often even without the expensive tritium, because of german radiation laws.
New rules like "ammo coding" as proposed by Obama?
Ammo prices will go up, reloading has to be banned.. and since 99% of all reloading equipment comes from the US.. we're screwed.
Less foreign politics means less MRE's but more HDR's.
This will totally screw up the balance between the prices (joking)
So...........
Vote republican!

Bush also inherited the shitty economy from clinton and carter. It was because of them that we are in this huge shitfest. The whole "give loans to people who can't afford it" was their idea. It was just chance that made it crash when it did, and then bush gets blamed for it.
Regardless, Obama is the president now. It's his job to fix the damn mess and stop complaining about it. I mean seriously, I look at it this way. Compare Obama to someone who fixes up cars. They receive it in absolutely poor condition and it needs work. Do they bitch about it and let it continue to rot in their drive way? Or do they get to work on it and then boast about it when it's gleaming and runs perfectly?

It's a world wide problem. People loaning imaginary money to buy stuff they can not afford. As long as it works.. It's ideal. The economy grows... grows... grows... collapses. But on the other side.. Even communism is kind off ideal. Everyone has what he needs, nobody has hunger. However, that system proved to be unreliable.. and when it collaps, everything collapses.
Capitalism works best.. as long as people don't go over the top. The banks / loaners should protect that risk, and everything would've been fine.
