Other uses for expended Australian CR-1M Packs

Post by rationtin440 » Wed Jan 27, 2010 11:11 am

Not sure that this was appropriate for international rations topic so decided to post here. I'm curious as to whether or not the green plastic (?) boxes that the Australian CR-1M's appear to come in, would have other uses after the ration has been eaten. In a survival situation the container might be useful to carry water or any food that the survivor may be able to "harvest" from flora/fauna in the area. Any thoughts? I'm not at all familiar with the CR-1M rations or boxes except for what I've seen on the pics linked in the international rations page.
