Chinese Army unit in Haiti?

Post by rationtin440 » Thu Jan 21, 2010 11:34 am

My dad told me that he saw on CNN footage of a Red Chinese army field hospital unit being off-loaded at a secure port in Haiti, presumably for humanitarian operations. I'm still attempting to find this footage, anyone else seen it? Interesting how a frightening cold war scenario turns into a major news event for different reasons altogether-----times they are a-changing.

Well hey we must be good citizens and since the Chinese are communists we are supposed to despise them and be suspicious of their every action, no matter that they are risking their lives to help rescue non-communists from the rubble. Don't mis-understand me i despise communism but my guess is that the chinese soldiers and medics themselves who see the worst of it and still do their job and save lives, they view the Haitians as victims in need of assistance, not as people who may be opposed to the communist ideology. As an aside, communist chinese medics saved my uncle's life during the korean war but don't tell anybody

Hey guys we have to give them some credit for sending a unit to help whether they are chinese communists or not. More often I've read in the news about the US and how slow our efforts are to get to hard hit areas. And even after all the effort and positive stuff the media seems to critize us for our efforts still. :? I just don't get it sometimes.

Gee u know these pics kind of make these evil reds look human! mebbe because they are and they really do take their work seriously! When u are buried in the ruins of your home and you are praying for someone to rescue you, are you gonna care that they are chinese? Mebbe the chinese rescuers realize that it could be their home someday and they are not likely to care who rescues them. My uncle sure did not care when he was being treated by them.

hmmmm..Let's get one thing straight...the chinese have one thing of communists, their name that's it!!!!!!.
They are no more commies than the people in Wallstreet. They say is a communist system but in reality is a fascist gerontocracy ruled by one "communist" party. These chinese are not the same reds we fought in Korea or 'Nam...they love the "capitallust" or the "lust for capitalism"and all its glory. Also like all the bonanzas it comes with it...Same was the nazis or "national socialists" and they didn't have anythig of red, only in their flag....

Yes, we have to give them some credit for what they have done in Haiti. :D
BUT.....don't let that help fool you, :? They had a presence in Haiti before the quake with the excuse of UN peacekeepers.., They like to do things quietly.Simple guys read Tsun Tsu and "the Art of war" and you will understand the chinese plain and simple.

If not...why the massive presence of thew US military in Haiti???? :?: :?: Yes to help ,but is also a show of force that sends a message to the chinese...."This is our backyard and DON'T you forget it!!!"
Is a big pissing contest between two big dogs.....
