I also want to give my best wishes to everyone here..

Now, let's find the instant champagne..
Sure, someone may one day kill me with my own gun.
But they'll have to beat me to death with it because it's empty.

ak70g2, you gave me a good idea to bring in the new year. Its already afternoon here in San Antonio Texas, but I bought a bunch of assorted rations from Housil last year and I think I'm going to pull that box out and try a few items out. That would make me happy today. I cant read the languages from abroad so I will just have to pick and choose. Coffee or tea sounds good.

ak70g2, okay I am joining you with some coffee. It appears to be from Normandy. Its called "SAFOR cafe lyophilise" made by some company in France. Looks like its an accessory package with: some salt, pepper, sugar, "safcao lacte" chocolate mix, "bicage lait ecreme en poudre" is assume this is powdered milk or creme - didnt want to open right now if this is milk.

My first ration was dutch, sent by Cracker. I've received 5 until now, I've eaten one and and half (the other half is in an Zip-lock bag, together with an Erbswurst and other items), one unopened box is in my backpack, ready to "deploy" and two are in the closet. :D I've tasted some MRE items, together with my niece (she loves the fig bar).

So, in 2010 I hope to get some MREs form guys on Mihail Kogalniceanu air base near me.

Best regards to you!
