I can't watch the vid (can't waite while loading I think; very laggy)
But if they use sewer lids.. those are great things..
A friend of mine used an sewerlid (also waffle patern) as barbecue;
Home made barbecue grill:
Get the inner basket from a old clothing washing machine or dryer (as long as it's well perforated)
fire it up with wood untill it's VERY hot; and then add some coles (you don't need extra coles if you use hardwood like oak or buchen) if it start to burn a bit less (don't let it go out, you need more then coles!).. put the sewer lid over it..
After half an our it get's very very hot, ready to grill on it..
He used an old waterpipe lid for it, which he sand and glaspearl blasted so it's blanc metal without any rust or paint on it.
Works GREAT as an irongrill.. simply put some butter or oil on the meat before grilling it
Recycling can do great things!
