A while back I had posted an interest in building a rucksack from various MOLLE and ALICE components; however with further research I've found that ALICE components are outdated, used, and the ALICE frame bends upon impact As demonstrated here.

So now I'm going to use more up to date components and contents. My plans are outlined as such below, and the components are in no particular order.

Ehm, for what are you going to use it for?
There is a lot of stuff that seems heavy and useless.
That isn't a problem when walking 15km.. but if your going for a 50km hike, you have a serious problem..

The alice frame bents in one fall? not from normal height (about 1 meter/yard with 30kg in it, when it falls, it falls on the pack part, not on the frame)
Those people are selling the polymer frames. Probably better, yes, but the alice is very light, probably lighter then the polymer one (thick polymer is over estimated.. it's pretty heavy). But they are probably not the most fact based information source.. they want to sell their own stuff

I'd look which one weighs less, and I'd go for that..

I would leave the mess kit, because you simply eat from your cookingset.
Having "nasty" stuff is a real pain in the ass when hiking. It has to go in a plastic bag, and you can't use that bag twive (hygiene..)

I would rather take a few MRE spoons (or just 1 or 2, they are washable) instead of normal cuttery from the mess kit.

I would leave the fire starting kit, unless you like to light fire in a primitive way. (it's fun.. but inpractical and doesn't work when wet.. and yes, even waterproof containers packed in plastic wrapper, with 12 layers of ducttape get wet: you'll have to open the packet) and it doesn't work on damp or moist fuels like grass or wood.
I'd replace it with an extra pack of waterproof matches, or a zippo (you'll love zippo's when it's windy!) and some innertubing from an bicycle tire.. yes it stinks, but it burns good, even when wet.. and has an very hot flame, so you can light moister things. And it doesn't have so much affect from wind.

And I have no idea why you take an ushanka and a 45+ sleepingbag (+10*C) with that temperature, i'd rather take a beanie or a BDU wintercap. (lighter). An ushanka is for cold weather (-4 till 30 fahrenheit) the sleepingbag is "comfortabel to 45+ degrees) using it in temps of 30+ to -4 fahrenheit will be freezing your ass off waking up cold will cause walking injuries (don't mention pain in your back and muscles and your mental state )

There is a lot of heavystuff.. It's OK when you park your car, and walk in the forrest, and set up camp.. but if you have to walk 50km it's a real problem.. the frame helps alot.. but not enough. Every spoon, cup or chewinggum to many breaks you up in the end

That will weight the same as a small car when all packed, do you really need all that?

... there isnt a pouch for the mess kit it was kept in the assault pack in the armoured vehichle, the combat docrtine called for fast fighting = no extra weight just combat gear.

Very light and easy to carry. Well the NBC suit weights a lot apart from that its fine

I don't know if I missed something but, you are talking about a lot of MOLLE gear yet no vest . The MOLLE II pack has two rows of MOLLE that are 4 channels wide. All that stuff you want to add won't work without a vest unless your using the newer 10th Mountain Ruck that has a lot more MOLLE.

molle is great as a vest, but don't forget, molle weighs alot aswell, those are quite though pieces of synthetic material, I'd rather go with a standard rucksack (a decent one) and add those "molle" things yourself. Molle is very simple, just buy yourself a rol of it (simply strong band material), and use a sewingmachine to sew it on.

I knew some people that did that, and placed those things in the right order, where they thought they were nescesary (normal rucksacks often have some molle on the back.. making your rucksack very long to the rear.. creating an lever effect on your back. It's better to have an wider rucksack, that spreads the weight on your whole back, and not only pressing on your lower back and shoulders.

You can make your own unique rucksack, without adding unnescessary weight and options that you'll never use.
If you walk 50km, and someone takes an waterbottle from your rucksack; you don't really feel the weight difference.. when he puts it back, the rucksack feels like it's 10kg heavier.

Really think about the things you NEED to have and which ones you WANT to have

For a airsoft 15-sleep-15 (2 days 30 kilometers) I take a sleepingbag, tent, 2,5 liter camelbag or a canteen and 1 extra bottle of water, a isolating mat, 2x 24 hour boxes and 2 entrees (seperate with the dutch ones..) and a load of beefjerky (all the world should eat beefjerky!) a bundeswehr gear (koppeltragegestell, foldable shoves, with the earlier mentioned canteen (optional) a first aid kid (in a BW canteencover), bigger bag (mehrzwecktasche) for the unpacked rations and food stuff)
Some extra clothes & ammo .. and the rifle (M16 SPR)

beefjerky is quite light, still fills good, and you can chew on it for a while.. to bad it's quite expensive in europe..
That's just for airsoft, not for real hiking.

By the way, norge.. do you play airsoft aswell?

nope i dont play air soft,have a lot of real deal training every whinter with
the royal marines and ditch marines.so i only collect gear

Thought so because of the gear photo's with the M4
I do MilSim in BW gear (military simulation sports..)

Basically soldier games from when we were kids, but with full gear, face paint, fox holes, hiking and real missions against eachother... (woodland vs. desert)

ops not ditch but dutch marines,think thats some difference

i have also done milsim games before,but when you have 4 kids and 1 wife
theres no time left for weeknd games.
we didn shot with the air soft rifles a lot,mostly training
and mre eating and camping
