We have "tons" of good ration topics, but what other topics you guys are interested in?
I´d like to post my 2nd favorit topic. As a professional paramedic I´m also interested in military medical treatment.
At every vacation, I´m reading a book about medic´s and corpsman etc.

The last years I read:

This year it will be:

See German one (for every soldier, like a first aid manual):

Every number and color refers to a treatment

Housil,

I take it that's just a little light reading while waiting for the MRE's to warm up?

Wilderness Medicine, Beyond First Aid, 5th Edition by Dr. William Forgey
will provide you insightful information on medical treatments in a field environment.

I would like to add to this list. Housil provided some useful recommendations.
As part of my article on survival I have included and highly recommend this book
by Dr. William Forgey. I use it regularly even as a city dweller like me.

One of the unique things about Dr. Forgey's book is his recommendation
on medicines that all travelers should keep in his kit. Both prescription
and over the counter medicines.

If you're interested in survival this book is for you. If you practice
homeopathic medicines this book can act as a supplement.

Survival, Safety, insect bites, infections, fractures are some of the items covered.
All in all this book will describe treatments for many different types of ailments.

Recommend Wilderness Medicine, Beyond First Aid, 5th Edition by Dr. William Forgey

Housil, where did you get your "Taschenkarte" from the Bundeswehr?
I tried to find one on eBay and other, but didn't manage to find it.
They probably hand it out to just about everyone during the AGA, but nobody even thinks of selling it probably..

Is it possible to get your hands on another one for me?
