Just 45 minutes to go to the season premiere of Lost. Anyone else watch the show? Post your ideas/theories.

We got all excited to start seeing the new Lost at 8pm EST...then discovered that the first hour was just a re-cap show. So we're back to American Idol until 9pm.
Ideas/theories? To be honest, I started getting fed up with the snow and how they think they can air 2 episodes and call it a whole season. Ok...so maybe I'm exaggerating...but only a little bit. Just give me a 22-24 episode season and if that's all you got, fine - call it done. But these new shows like Lost and Heroes that come out and are wildly popular seem to go to the networks' heads and they start thinking they can get away with anything...like this insane scheduling - 4 episodes here, break for a few months, 8 more episodes, break for 6 months, etc. They deserve to lose viewers.
But all that griping aside, I still watch the show.
And then there's Battlestar Galactica...

It's like what they are doing with the Unit. They show 2 episodes and then a 3 week break. I read somewhere that there were like 9 more episodes though for the season. But the season will probaly be over at the end of the summer.

Hi,
that's what I call GOOD news
I never watch that kind of TV shows with x seasons X 24 episodes but, I must confess: I'm a fan of Lost
Well, I don't wear the Lost T-shirt, drink my coffee in a Lost mug and have Lost posters in my room but I'm allways very eager to see the new season!
I guess I'll have to start the "donkey" or find a good US proxy if I don't want to wait for the official French version in 1 year...

Never been a fan of lost, just never got into it,
Watched the first 4 series of 24 then wondered how many days it could go on for and how unlucky Jack Bauer was. So I stopped watching.

You can't really start to watch Lost unless you would watch every episode. You won't believe the things they done since crashing.

Well I've seen every episode of Lost so far and I still find myself...well...lost. There's just so much stuff going on - so many bad guys turned good guys turned bad again - but wait - now they're good to some characters and bad to others - that my head just spins. But I sit there anyway and watch it and take it all in and stop trying to guess what's going to happen next.
I think the peak of Lost - when the series was at its best and when it seemed like the most awesomest show - was near the end of season 2 when Locke was trapped under the blast door in the Swan station and found the map:

Hey, one question: has the episode 4 of season 5 already been released? It seems to exist (ABC.com site) but I can't find it on the Web

No, episode 4 isn't out yet. TVIV.org says not until this Wednesday:
