Great Photos norge, thanks for sharing

!
The white winter cover uniform is very hard to find in Germany, also the white Mickeys. I guess in Norway it is the same, is it?
I can´t remember that US Army used the white uniform during winter exercises in Germany. Sometimes vehicles were painted in winter camouflage (MERDC with white stains)!
Did you ate an RCW while wearing your uniform
So long mreheater72

Me neither!
OD allways. Never saw any snow paintings or white dresses over here.
Norge,
it´s 17°C over here, that snow is made from flour? Sugar? Bed sheets? Theater background?
Confess!!
Folks, let´s go see norge and test our stuff in snow and have some RCW, hot tomycooker coca and a cosy night in a MSS on a cot
Someone need´s a ride? My Iltis is having a heater inside and I have a pair brand new Canadian Mukluks...

Good Photos.
I'll have to pull some of my extreme cold weather stuff. Actually, it can get real cold where I am in NY right near an ocean during the winter.
But it doesn't stop the surfer dudes here. I fought for there right to surf, democratic style. They can now surf.
I've got a neighbor; she lives close to me. She's the first black women to visit Antarctica. I'd vote for her for President.

New York (City) winters are allways like this
to me. But I saw in news over here about "horrible" Blizzards and snow strom over NYC.
Due to the National Weather Service, there is an URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE...

Central Park. Been in and around that area many times. There's a good IMAX movie theater near 68th and Broadway. I haven't been there in awhile but I used to see those expensive movies with big 3D glasses. Those movies had to be short on purpose.
If you visit NYC that's a place to walk around. 42nd street is also walkable from Broadway and 68th Street. 42nd Street has been cleaned up a great deal during the Giuliani Administration.
North Dakota is consistently the coldest place within Continental United States (CONUS). Had a friend and roomate stationed at Minot, AFB, N.D. which is close to Fargo, N.D. The cold weather gear he was issued was an absolute necessity. People would often drive off the road into a ditch because of the icy snowy conditions. So the weather in S.D. is not surprising.
But if you haven't seen this film, I highly recommend this.
