Is here someone who shoot 9x19mm Wolf brand ammo and can give me some feedback? I intend to use this cheap ammo on a various range of pistols (Glock, Heckler&Koch USP, SIG Sauer P226) and I want to know how works the steel tube vs. the brass one. Will damage the weapons?

I've put countless round down range with wolf and it's just fine. Just clean after you shoot, but that's with any ammo for me.

You might want to check over at ar15.com for some more detailed reviews. From what I read, the 7.62 stuff works just fine in AKs - but it's real dirty and like george94 says, you'll want to be sure to clean your rifle afterwards.

But for 5.56 use in "less tolerant" weapons like the AR-15s/M-16s, you'd probably want to stay away from Wolf.

I've used Wolf in AR's and they worked just fine. Just stay away from surplus AK ammo. It gunked up the gas tube and couldn't move the slide back for a while.

Nothing to apologize for - it's always better to have someone chime in with actual experience with the stuff!

Virtually all the surplus ammo from the Soviet block has corrosive priming material. The guns must be cleaned the old fashioned way...
Brush out the bore with solvent, patch it dry and then scrub the bore with Boiling water ! Dry bore and oil.
It will not rust then.
Omit the hot water and it will rust...badly !
Western bloc countries shifted to non-corrosive primers in the early 50's...
Shoot all day, then prop it in the corner for years, no problem !
Is the Russian stuff bad ?
No, just different. And it gave the soldiers something to do, keep them busy

I'm no expert I just like to shoot.

i fired a couple thousand rounds of wolf ammo through my ar not a single jam or misfire. one of the main problems was the lacquer coated rounds. the lacquer would get hot and gob up the chamber. the newer wolf is without the lacquer so no issue there. it is very dirty ammo but no matter what i shoot when im done my ar gets a good 1-2 hour cleaning. old habits die hard. the only other issue with steel cased wolf is it can damage your extractor at least that's what other have said. my extractor and bolt is examined when i clean my rifle and i have had no issue with this.
