Moist Towelette — Hand Sanitizer — Disinfectant -- Face Masks
Another ubiquitous MRE component the moist towelette from National Towelette Company http://www.towelettes.com/index.asp ranks high. Extracted from the accessory pouch in the 2004 menu; this is both useful for its size and soapy consistency. It's a good formula and designed to stay moist in extreme conditions. More information can be found on the companies website. Their products were initially designed for the military and holds up well.

These towelettes are so useful having one always on your person is helpful.
I keep one in my wallet. Naturally useful for cleaning hands they are also
useful for cleaning minor cuts and abrasions.

I agree the uses for these little towelettes are only limited to your imagination. When I have them I keep a few in my car also; one of the most useful places. I even used some to clean the dash at least the one I have pictured works like a charm for that purpose. But they are not all the same. Different formulas and sizes will yield different results.
I like the size of the one I imaged. With that item included in your MRE you get a real bang for your buck.
This is something useful that could be added to the Buy/Sell/Trade forum.
They're that useful.

I never came across of bad smelling wet nap. At worst they would dry up.
