Might as well get ready to make a 2018 Market Crash thread soon. I have a feeling that this next crash is going to be disastrous, and far worse than the 2008 one.

That's not a bad idea.

The reason I put it here is because we never fully recovered from the 2008 Market Crash. There was great volatility out there. The country teetering on a meltdown. Seriously, that was the indication. So in some ways its all connected.

By pure happenstance, I rediscovered this post, ironically within the same month 10 years later.

The market has still seen some volatility and the cleanup is still underway: new regulation and cancellation of wasteful spending projects.

So, in effect, we in the US are still repairing the damage caused by grossly inadequate bankers. I have a personal story I could share in banking but will withhold it.
True irony it is however.

Anyway, we have to wait and see if Trump's changes and policies will change and hold eventhough he has done some good things for the country those
bankers I've alluded to above are real bonafide c r o o k s.

This thread is loaded with posts about the economy, the war in Iraq and Afghanistan, the market crash (you can see my posts from October 6, 2008), John McCain's campaign with Governor Schwarzenegger, terrorism, terrorist war groups and the evil they cause. Now in 2018 a new documentary is being aired that covers the market crash and gives new insight into some of the harm the investor bankers caused.

Meanwhile, what I've been reading for work talks about how this or this market (here, the German real estate one) are protected from a market crash: https://tranio.com/articles/german-prop ... ice-crash/
When even huge companies are beginning to say "hey, here's what you should do to survive the next economic crash", you realise you were right all along!
