I hate to even go there, but there it is. Of course, I'm voting for McCain. Americans generally don't say who they are voting for. I thought it was a very cool "FYC" move on McCains part, for saying he was going to suspend his campaign, head back to Warshington, and work on his Senate duties, then, actually show up in Mississippi, and tear Obama a new assh***. Does anyone in America really think this Chicago gangland thug will become the next Commander-In-Chief. If you do, Just vote "Present" on the ballot.

i dont particularly like mccain but i will not vote for obama. i will end up voting for mccain. i refuse to vote for bob barr. obama in my opinion would be horrible for our country. i have no quelms voting for a black man but just not this one. his ties to william ayers, trinity church and jerimiah wright, are enough for me add social health care and you have a recipe for disastor. i am proud to say i did not vote for george bush I or II.

I still think one of the requirements for a politician should be active duty in the military...
Not reserve, not national guard, not militia, real active duty.
It does tend,(mostly) to seperate the men from the boys...

I also agree with Dirtbag. It should be a requirement that you have to serve on active duty in the military. I also think McCain does have a idea of how to get America back on the financial track and out of this financial mess were all in 'cause of Wall Street. Financial responsibility is the key to putting everything in perspective and ensuring everything is running smooth. Not only for us but for the rest of the free world.

But I don't agree with Obama's plan to tax the living hell out of eveyone to pay for many of the social welfare people. Doesn't make any sense, and that's why I'm not voting for him.

But then there's Sarah Palin. She's hot, but that's it.

Well, she's in charge of the Alaska National Guard, and land-wise, I think theres only a 40 mile gap between Alaska and Russia. I bet Putin is kicking himself in the ass for Russia selling us Alaska for 2 cents an acre. I'm not kidding. Look it up.

America bought Alaska/Russian America in 1867, i don't think Putin ever thinks about that.

But anyway, Alaska's proximity to Russia means what? That Palin has experience? Experience in what? Did she meet with the Russian leaders many times? Sure, it's only 40 mile's of ocean between Russia and Alaska, but what does that matter?

It's lines like that which show, in my humble opinion, a woman who doesn't have any real substance. She doesn't know that much about the world, she's obviously not interested in learning about it. How can an Alaskan governor say these kinds of things?

It's not only the Russia-line, it's also about the Bush-doctrine, the financial crisis, the answers to questions that don't make sense. It sounds as if she's only saying words she's been told by her campaign advisors. Like she doesn't know exactly what she says.

Sure everyone makes mistakes, we're all human. I just don't think Palin is the best person in America to be the first in line of succession. A person like that should be able to answer question clearly and *know* what they're saying. We're not talking about something small, we're talking about the Vice President. God forbid anything happens to McCain, who is not the youngest anymore.

And i'm not even talking about her political opinion on matters, it's her general knowledge of the world. Her understanding of it. It just doesn't feels right.

McCain will do alright as president, Obama will do alright, Biden will do alright. I don't expect much to change. Apart from what most people believe, the Republican and Democratic party aren't that different from my point of view. Their beliefs are in the same region, with slight differences on specifics.
