How to buy your own missile silo

Post by BigMark » Thu Aug 28, 2008 6:42 pm

Now, this might violate opsec (j/k, just read that other thread.. lol).. I've had this bookmarked for a while and thought some of ya'll might enjoy it.

I've shopped for them before (not seriously of course), and you find them more often than you might think, a lot of them are out in the middle of nowhere.. the one I saw last was like 1000 acres in the middle of Colorado I think for 1 mil..

I'd love to own my very own missile silo. Alas...I don't think there are too many in North Carolina.

Everytime I hear about these things, I think of this site:

Right in Edgemont PA about a 1/8 of a click away from my workplace are the original Nike silos. My boss and I drove past them a few weeks ago to see if we could actually still see the silos but, they now look like a giant, grassy depression in the ground.
