The 1981 'Day of the Triffids' is also on YouTube.

First instalment: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ooaAAnNXPpI

As many commenters have noted, it was a 'major influence' on '28 Days Later' (i.e. they totally ripped it off).

Sorry to but in. Movie's are great. How about the scariest scene in a movie, when you were a kid? That would be the F4 WildCat scene, in Midway, the guy got shot up, and had use small fire estinguisher, to put out the flames in his cock pit. He made it back, anyhow.

When I was about seven years old, my older sister smuggled me in to a showing of Barbarella. That scene with the dolls with metal jaws was a recurring nightmare of mine for years. I think I hid for most of the rest of the movie.

A few years ago I saw it again. It's hilariously bad.

I think, 2 favorites of mine. They Live, and Resident Evil. It's all fantasy anyhow. I used to play "B-17 Bomber" and Xevious, on ColecoVision game system, about 1977.

I can beat all of that. When I was about 5 I had Cancer (1985) and was staying at the hospital most of the time away from my family. I remember I couldn't sleep one night and it was really late around Midnite so I turned on my TV and flipped throught the channels and a really neat looking movie was on. So I watched it for a bit and all of a sudden this guy is crushing another guys head!! I couldn't sleep for 2 days!

I found out later on that it was Blade Runner and I had pretty much turned it on the only majorly freaky part in the whole movie! It is now one of my fav movies as I have just recently gotten the Final Cut and it is GREAT!
