Need some help in Europe, this summer

Guys, I think I need some help. This summer I intend to take a trip in Western Europe to buy a car. So, I need some help, to deal with vendors, some tricks to learn, maybe a good mechanic to help me to choose. I want to buy a second hand extended cab, 4WD diesel Toyota Hilux like the one in picture (black is not mandatory, but I preffer a low profile colour like grey/dark blue/dark green).

So, if you have some tips (someone who have a car to sell) beside search engines like Mobile.de and some time to waste to help me, please give me a sign. Any help will be apreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Hey brother, what are you going to do with that car, run over the Gypsies!?

Sorry, in France we only have Peugeots and the top car here is the Logan-Dacia

No, cousin, beside I'd liked very much... But my Dad got some land and I need a car to help him to establish a farm. I need this car to drive off-road/no road 90% of time, so, 4 wheels drive is a must.

And don't remind me about Dacia Logan, I've drived one yesterday. And it's no match for my needs. :D

Have you checked for automotive web sites? There are all sorts of special interest web sites for various types of vehicles. Enter the vehicle make and model on one of the search engines and it should bring up sites that may be of interest to you.

Sorry if I wasn't clear. I was referring to the various owner sites that discuss specific vehicles or groups of vehicles; basically what is commonly referred to as a "fansite" where owners congregate to discuss and share ideas about their particular vehicles.
