This year was the 80th anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge. As we visited the celebrations in Normandy D-Day this year, viewtopic.php?f=16&t=12739&hilit=normandy winter time means driving to Belgium, visiting Bastogne and their celebrations (again).
So I rent a local farm house (AirBnB)
where we stayed the four days.
We visited the Bastogne war museum
where they had reenactment camps outside
Next stop was a nice, little museum where they displayed, what they dug out at the battle sites over here

Next day
we visited a WW2 military fair
Note, that guy ask´s €1000 for (allegedly) original WW2 rations
from the fair, we went to Bastogne Barracks where they have a museum but also do tank rides
Display of an WW2 aid station
A German halftrack "Sdkfz 251" what is a IFV nowadays
The very last, still driving German King Tiger (Königs Tiger)
70 tons and a driving eight-eight
A German field kitchen display
the old (1944) train station of Bastogne
Walking down town Bastogne

On Christmas 1944, there was a battle at Manhay, https://www.google.de/maps/place/Geschi ... FQAw%3D%3D
a tiny village where the US troops could stopp the German advance. The fighting's took from Dec 23rd to 26th. Every year is there a reenactment battle at the original battle field with ~ 10.000 spectators
