hey i thought we could get a little poll going. you dont have to post who you voted for if you dont want to. of course you are free to if you would like. i tried to include as many candidates as possible. if i left your pick out im sorry. i had to leave out certain candidates due to the constraints of amount of poll options available.

I think it's easier to say who I won't be voting for right now. As for who I will be voting for, at this point, it's not a question of the presidential election but the primaries. Once the final election comes around, I'll probably end up voting for whomever's on the ticket for the party I typically vote for.

Not trying to be too vague here, but primaries typically just piss me off. By the time my state (NC) gets to vote, the die has already been cast. So let's say I like Thompson (just picking a name) and want to vote for him. But then suppose he gets slammed in the first dozen primaries and drops out of the race. Well there you go...so much for whomever I wanted to vote for.

The current primary system blows...it's designed to make it easier for the polictical parties to manipulate the process. You want it to be "fair"? Then have everyone vote in the primary on the same day. Giving New Hampshire and Iowa such massive control over who gets on the ticket is bullshit.

Then again, this is politics we're talking about... :-)

My view is, anything but hillary

Ron Paul, but only to make the point that we want more choices. The two party system is broken, it's stupid to be left leaning democrat or centrist republican, lets split them up into camps that can really sell what they want.

i agree with you dirtbag and big mark. politics now is just trying to dig up dirt on someone, not hey look at my policies i really could make a difference in our country. i like duncan hunters views on a lot of things especially illegal immigration. unfortunately we will not have the opportunity to vote for him. unless it is a right in ballot in which case you may as well not vote. i dont know what to do. we have to make some changes but heading down the hillary highway is not the way to go in my opinion.
