ERDL trousers wanted

want to buy/trade a pair of erdl camo trousers size medium reg
or large regular or long on both.
from 1960 to 1982 style.
also USMC cover in erdl camo from the same period.

Heh heh, It's your lucky day Ken-Tore!
By the way, we Rangers were issued those (we called them "Jungles") in about 1978 or 1979. Ours had the original Viet Nam issue style upper "slant pockets" (I believe the Marines used a "straight" pocket design). And unlike the Marines who called them "camies", we called then "camo's" (our term of "Jungles" actually originated with the use of the original Olive Green colored field uniform issued in `Nam). When we switched from the OD to the Camo uniform many called them "Jungle Camo's", but most of us just continued to refer to them as Jungles.
Also, there were actually 2 different color schemes. The one you have pictured was a lighter / brighter green and was known as the "Highland" camouflage. There was also a darker green version (which had more of a brown color tone to it) that was known as the "Lowland" camouflage. I still have sets in both (burried somewhere in my house).

ERDL means "nam camo" pattern that US adopted after the SF adopted the tiger stripe pattern from the ARVN's about the time John Wayne made the movie "The Green Berets". Excellent reference is Stantons' book "Uniforms of the Vietnam War". ERDL was an early test/experiment for the Woodland pattern BDU, which was adopted about 1981, and was totally fielded by the US Army by 1983. Woodland is just great for USA and Europe, but it seems to fail, in desert environments, including NTC.
