Books, movies, articles
Couldn’t find a form with the name books so I just made one here’s an amazing book I’m listening to on audible right now. Can’t wait to share more with you! It’s also so fitting because next semester of college I’m taking American history!

We have some interspersed in the forums usually by name only. A summary could be useful.

I need to get the book(s) Dick Winters wrote. I know of one, but i have to Google if he wrote more than one....jfk06 will know
Re: Books, movies, articles
That sounds like a cool book what’s it about? And the one I’m reading so far from listening to it , it’s about a US army officer named Felix sparks and it’s his 500 day odyssey through Italy during WWll. I’m in chapter 5 and they’re still in Italy and about to be in Germany.

I'm not much of a reader, but Dick Winters was an officer in the famous Easy Co. 101st Airborne 506th parachute div... (you probably already know all this) DDay, Bastogne, Eagles Nest. This particular unit was involved in many important battles (many other units too, of course).Steph1997 wrote: ↑Sat May 09, 2020 5:34 pmThat sounds like a cool book what’s it about? the book is a walk through of easy company supposedly, but i have yet to get a copy to read

Definitely if you have audible give it a try, I’ll listen to it before I go to bed , I’d love to find a book on rations. I’ve tried to search for some but they’re never really specifically rations just like food during the depression sort of thing.ViperGTS wrote: ↑Sat May 09, 2020 6:16 pmI'm not much of a reader, but Dick Winters was an officer in the famous Easy Co. 101st Airborne 506th parachute div... Re: Books, movies, articles
We had a book about rations that our moderator Housil acquired. Don’t know where mine is. It was mentioned of course around the forums. It was part history part recipe.

I’ll have to look around for it , I’m sure I’ll find it. I have yet to search around. Recipes would be cool. There’s a lot of things I’ll come across that I’ll think , “wow this would go nice in a ration”. “This would be so satisfying in a ration.”
