Good day my fellow quaranteened humans!

Stuck inside and cooking 3 meals a day?
Are your "easy foods" running out?
I bet we all have some dry storage bags of rice, beans, flour, and other shelf stable foods. Perhaps a ton of canned foods?

But what to do with it?
How do you combine these items into tasty meals?
What is propper seasoning for different volumes of food?
How do I get bold flavors?

ALL THESE QUESTIONS WILL BE ANSWERED:
IN A SERIES OF POSTS FROM MYSELF AND OTHER HOME/PROFESSIONAL COOKS.... WE WILL POST AS OFTEN AS POSSIBLE. WE WILL BE AVAILABLE TO ANSWER QUESTIONS AND HELP YOU BUILD MEALS FROM WHAT YOU HAVE.

I will start the posts with a family recipe we have enjoyed for years. It is versatile and tasty! Supper food if you will. Complete proteins and super nutritious.

Great post buddy! I’m making ground deer tacos tonight. We’re set for food up here, and are on “self isolation” for a few weeks just because.

Steve: cheers buddy. That marmite and vegemite make amazing soup stocks and gravies!!!! Just use a tablespoon of it in say 2 cups of water. Add pepper and garlic. Simmer and taste. Add more if needed. Set aside and saute veggies and protein of your liking. Add soup base after pan is getting browned at bottom. Liquid will deglaze the pan and make for wonderful flavors. At this point you can add fresh herbs or even a 1/2cup of instant potatoes to thicken soup up!
