Happy kids eating C rations
Well maybe not all of 'em are happy. But at least that one is with the 3 French kids.

These two are great thanks for sharing Steph. I love how they're actually spoon feeding the kids some chow. Man, I dunno there's just such mixed emotions in all these too. Probably more tragedy than anything.. but rations again bring a little beauty out of something that has very little of it otherwise.

wow these are a bit emotional... amongst all the violence, there were moments of kindness. kids are kids in every country, innocent, ...and the stuff that these ones saw must have been horrific

Dang Steve and Viper! Didn't expect to come to MREinfo for the feels but here I am! Really is almost like rations are just a little piece of something naturally "good" in the most basic pure human need sort of way that cuts through the chaos of the times they are used in. Like in these pics. Good stuff and good reflection.steve1989 wrote: ↑Sat May 16, 2020 4:10 amThese two are great thanks for sharing Steph. Grub definitely can bring people together no matter where they’re from or what they’re going through. I also really enjoy the pictures of soldiers sharing food with dogs and other animals. Almost like me and my dog on some hikes sharing some jerky.steve1989 wrote: ↑Sat May 16, 2020 4:10 amThese two are great thanks for sharing Steph.
