WWII personal soldier equpiment - WWII museum Gdansk, Poland

Last weekend I was in the WW II museum in Gdańsk, Poland. This museum is quite new, but very popular.
You can see the war from a broad view, not only Poland, so it is interesting for foreigners as well. Most of the exhibition is multimedia information, but there are also real memorabilia - civil and military. It takes about 3 hours to see the exhibition. Everything is located underground.
I took some pictures of personal soldier equipment from different countries
Some US rations cans
German fish can. Schokakola and a coffee mill
mess kits, kitchenware (Poland, Germany etc
German portable stove - it is almost identical to the current Italian
Below - a reconstruction of UK air shelter, note the Mr Bean teddy bear on the floor
If you will be near - it's worth to visit

Thank you for sharing, Delicious. Those boiled sweets tins are almost always empty. I have a couple similar British rations from that era and do wonder if the boiled sweets were just Pascal Barley Sugar or perhaps twist-wrapped spherical shaped boiled sweets. May never know..

Well, your collection Steve is something like 100 times richer than this museum
I dunno about that, if you were walking through there for 3 hours, they probably have me beat! I was mostly just laughing at what the cool Ukrainian giant dude said.
The museum itself seems like a really nice one. Will have to go down to a local one nearby that I gave a case of 74 MCIs to last year and see if they still have it. If they do, they will get a few new things and I'll report back with a picture or 2.

Well, your collection Steve is something like 100 times richer than this museum
I dunno about that, if you were walking through there for 3 hours, they probably have me beat! I was mostly just laughing at what the cool Ukrainian giant dude said.
The museum itself seems like a really nice one. Will have to go down to a local one nearby that I gave a case of 74 MCIs to last year and see if they still have it. If they do, they will get a few new things and I'll report back with a picture or 2.
Case of 74 MCIs? Was that one case, or more? Anyways, wish I worked for that museum!

Steve, I wonder if our museum in Gdansk would be interested in getting a complete US ration set (I don't mean the whole case, just the 24h set). If you are able to sell this I will ask them
