Gas prices have been falling like crazy here too. Now at about €1.18 / liter. About $5,60 / gallon.

Too good to be true? No, just the pendulum swinging the other way. Once we hit a low, low, low price, it'll start moving back up...but hopefully not too fast or too far up.

Gas prices -as that of most other commodities- are really down now.
We're now in a deflationary period, making things cheaper.
Governments will battle deflation by creating inflation . They'll create as much money as they need - making things more expensive, with the exception of debts.
We should enjoy as long as it is going to last. One day prices will rise, and at the end you can't afford it anymore.

Okay here in South Texas I bought it for $1.47 gallon yesterdayt and heard it was for $1.39 gallon somewhere else in town.
If it hits $1.00 I will have to stop the smell the roses -- Like There is Something wrong with this picture. Sounds like all these big companies are shutting down laying off people and the only thing good is cheap gas! I dont know! Highest price here about 2 months ago was about $3.86 to about 4.15 Gallon. These amounts are for the Regular gas, the lowest octane gas.
