In my car is also a set of Break Lights in different colors, just in case when for example the lights at the back of my car are destroyed in a car accident. With the red Break lLghts in place I can drive home, provided the car will move at all.

:D Excellent info from Colorado. I like being buried in 33 inches of snow, twice in 1 month. Do you have some spare trioxane tabs and a set of chains for your victor?

Actually, I do have some trioxane tabs I keep in the vehicle, along with some of the MRE fuel gel. You would be surprised at all that I keep in my vehicle. The gate guards at the local military bases have been when my vehicle is "randomly" selected to be searched.

Yesterday we had the worst storm in years, with wind speed up to 130 kmh. In 5 different European countries a total of 40 people have died, many hundreds were wounded and their was enormous damage to trees, highways, houses and so on. Many thousands of commuters got stuck for hours in their cars or stranded the whole night at railway stations.

And I felt very secure with my MRE, extra clothing and blanket in my car. Had no need to use them - luckily. Just missed a toilet in my car. Could be handy after eating a MRE...

Hi,

a toilet you can find everywhere, but its a problem to find toilet paper! But not with a MRE, you know, you will find it in each Accessory Packet! :D !

I live in Frankonia and Im glad, that "Kyrill" is over!

Best wishes

Indeed mreheater72, we are also glad 'Kyrill' is over. We live at the seashore, at the spot where the full power of the storm hit the land. Luckily we had no damage!
I noticed that in Frankenland the storm was also very heavy.

The problem with the MRE toilet paper is, that there isn't enough paper in 6 MRE's to do the job. As most MRE make me sh@t twice, I would have to plunder a full box to get a clean ass. Unfortunately MRE are very hard to get so I have to find another solution.
LOL!!

BTW: Do you like the 'new' German EPA's? I had some in the Eighties and in my opinion they tasted somewhat better than the Dutch and English rations.
