New info

Post by madcapmagician » Sat Jan 12, 2008 7:27 pm

Just learned that they found the body of the 4 month old this morning. The preliminary exanination revealed the child died of blunt force trauma and drowning. They also believe they may have located the bodies of the other 3 children underwater using sidescan sonar. They could not get to them, because of strong current's. I can only hope they find them soon, so the family can at least a measure of closure.

They also reported something else I could not believe! Pardon my language. The BASTARD actually had the gall to call the mother's house asking for cigarettes, and to give her false hope that they were actually still alive! Can you believe this. There is no punishment that is too cruel for this maniac. There should also be an investigation into why he was allowed access to a ohone to call them anyway :?:

I can only hope the children's were quick and they did not have to suffer for too long!

Anyone wishing to give their condolences to the family can go to:

I don't want to carry this one to make it look like I'm totally against capital punishment; I not really, and see it justified for some offenses. My only objection to it is that in the long run, it usually costs a state more than a life term. And I think that a life term without the possiblity of parole is probably worse than the easy out of knowing that there is a termination date to your sentence.

Additionally, France has not executed anyone since 1977, and capital punishment is prohibited in any country that belongs to the EU; and France is an EU member.

Yes, and additionally, here "live term" means 20 or 30 years max.

We have almost every month a case of serial killer or another maniac who's released after 15 years because he seems to have "changed" and this guy kills a woman or rapes a kid the first week he's out

On the other hand we had the famous case of two little boys killed near a railway (stoned). A kind of young “village idiot” was found near the scene, “shaken” by the policemen, he signed everything they wanted, was condemned to life term and a few years later the police found that a well known serial killer was just at this place before the kids were found dead.
The boy is now free.

I believe a real life term penalty is not a so bad option, even if I often think “I’d really shoot this guy with pleasure” when I hear the news…

Death penalty FTW! I appreciate that Texas actually executes people, but most of them if you look have still been on death row for a few years.. exhaust appeals (which just costs us all money) etc.. of course there will always be innocent people in jail and even executed, unfortunately that's how the system works, you can never be 100% sure someone committed the crime unless it's on tape or they confess. Have a better alibi I guess.

Looks like we also have a Marine, that offed some other Marine. That was really a nasty deed. Went down in North Carolina. This is the worst thing thing I, as an American Patriot, have heard of. Somebody find this madman, and put one in the chest and one in the face.

Well keep your eyes out for him - he's on the loose and could be headed down towards Texas.

Personally, I'm disgusted by the behavior of the Marine Corp and Navy in this case. This female Marine claimed she was raped by the male Marine and yet it took them months before they would even issue a protective order against the guy. During that time, they made her continue to work with the guy's buddies. Then after she disappeared, the Marines and Navy refused to look into her case as anything other than a case of rape allegation.

The woman's family finally had to drive down to North Carolina from Ohio and confront the local authorities personally before they would even consider looking into her disappearance. Once they started looking, things started falling into place and within a week, they found her body and had all but secured a confession from the guy who did it (he says she killed herself and he just buried the body).

But again, thanks to the Marines and Navy dragging their feet and refusing to acknowledge at first the rape and then her disappearance, this guy had a chance to get away.

I'm normally a huge supporter of the military but this behavior is inexcusable. The Marines let one of their own down and all but helped the perpetrator get away.

Exactly, Kman. Looks like a refurbish of a case from Iraq. This guy went nuts, just like a couple guys in the 101, etc. They'll get him, unless he makes it to Mexico. Thats where he's trying to go. They can't catch all the regulers coming North-bound, but this south bound donkey has a real price on his head. 8)
