This from a member whose country's contribution to ww 2 is already forgotten by younger generations.
I "said":

Nobody said stayed, nobody was talking from the past :!:

Every nation has it´s history

As I´m not a nazi, I´m just a 1968 born German (when WW2 was over for 23 years) and I guess you aren´t an indian killing, africans displacing and enslaving, dutch ancesrty American.

But when we turn back time long enough, we always find at history bad things of every nation.

There was a progrom back in 1900 in Russia, also during the whole 20th century all over east europa. So antisemitism isn´t a German invention!
Concentration Camps were an English invention - also not a German!

See this page for American concentration camps:

Or see:

The Guardian:
George Bush's grandfather, the late US senator Prescott Bush, was a director and shareholder of companies that profited from their involvement with the financial backers of Nazi Germany.
The Guardian has obtained confirmation from newly discovered files in the US National Archives that a firm of which Prescott Bush was a director was involved with the financial architects of Nazism.

His business dealings, which continued until his company's assets were seized in 1942 under the Trading with the Enemy Act, has led more than 60 years later to a civil action for damages being brought in Germany against the Bush family by two former slave labourers at Auschwitz and to a hum of pre-election controversy.

Better stop this useless, wrong-placed, discussion here...

By the way, any nazi sympathizing party in Germany is forbidden by law and will cause you years of prision, even to wear just any symbol of the 3rd Reich.
But why do "you" have still active nazi parties in USA?! with more nazies today than we had in 1935 all over europa?!?!
The National Socialist Movement is the largest Nazi Party operating in the United States of America today

http://www.nsm88.org/index2.html

Whats up with Prussian Blue ?!

http://prussianbluestore.com/index.php

or the American Nazi Party , founded March 8th 1959 (when beeing a nazi was already a crime in Germany!), changed its name in 1967 in National Socialist White People's Party chairman Matt Koehl

or

http://www.nazi.org/

Libertarian National Socialist Green Party

want more of still legal, activ, american nazi partis?!

I can´t look for more, as any nazi activies are a crime over here and I doesn´t want to have the staate security, nor the CID at my house - confiscate my PC and me...

So please, stop that useless discussion about historical guiltyness etc.

Especailly as every day 85 iraqi civilian get killed, a total of 300.000 since the american invasion...
http://www.ipsnews.net/news.asp?idnews=32896

But I also see the danger comming from far east, from islamic terrorist, increasing gas price.

If we talk about "our" history, lets see some K-Rations, Eiserne Rationen and force norge to eat them... :P

You're lucky! Your grandparents and parents (folks of my generation) had to live with the terror, nightmare, and shame of the Third Reich. While I'm sure it will never be forgotten, it is probably best to leave that as a bad memory in history, and know it enough to know that it should never be repeated.

You mean like a country that incarcerates their own citizens during WWII in the name of ethnic paranoia and that all encompassing term, "national security"?
housil wrote:So antisemitism isn´t a German invention!
As I know it, anti-Semetic beliefs have been around for a couple of thousand years, well before Germany came into being.
housil wrote:Concentration Camps were an English invention - also not a German!
The concept of involuntary servitude had also been around well before Anglo-Saxon times. I don't think either the UK or Germany has any claim to it's origins.

Great idea!

Just goes to show that the First Amendment is alive and well, and working as it should.

There are lots of people in the U.S. who subscribe to Neo-Nazi beliefs who do not belong to one of those organizations, why should they be excluded?

On the other hand ...
I and many other people in the U.S. are quite thankful for one of Hitler's contributions to industialized countries. I know a lot of people think that it was President Eisenhower who brought into being the US Interstate Highway system, but I don't think most people know where he got the idea.

I know those are just reproductions, but I wonder if the actual rations were of the same size. 300 gr of meat and 150gr of crackers? Those are huge portions compared to the rations of today.

Gosh darn'it, I'm going to have to sell all these 1/10th oz. Eagles. Anyone need 28 $5 dollar eagles. I'll have to keep the last 2. Monty Python said I could actually eat gold, if in dire straights. PS, I don't know where to begin with the 1912 St. Gaudens my GrandMother left me. 8)
