I don't plan on running out of ammo. Im not wasteful in my shooting. Have you heard the old saying one shot one kill. If I did run out of ammo, I would not worry too much. My skills with a knife and with my hands would suffice. As for the scope I hardly ever shoot with it. I am an expert marksman with open sights up to 500 yards. I just like to look at the scope.

Orders given to Communist troops in the Korean War;
shortly afterward, the Marines were ordered
to not wear their khaki leggings.

I have thought long and hard about the steel cased ammo. This is not the lacquer type of wolf. So im not worried about the gumming issues. The only other problem is the damaged extractor. I have two standby complete bolt assemblies. So if one does break im ok. I have fired about 700 rounds of the steel cased so far. I have not had one failure. I have inspected my extractor after each firing and it is fine. I will let you all know if that changes.
