You don`t need a passport to enter Turkey. Your ID-card (Personalausweis) is enough. You just have to fill out a customs form without passport when you enter and when you leave. A passport makes it just easier...

I was in turkey 4 times, first time with just ID-card, the next three times with passport...

Romania is also a member of EU, so you don´t need a passport too.

well, maybe i let made that passport also to still get the current version and not the upcoming version with my fingerprints saved to a microchip... xD
