Been on vacation for two weeks, fleeing off Covid and the devastating floods
First week was MTB into the Alp Mountains
A WW2 one person shelter
Our highest place at 1.400 meters (~4.600ft)
GPS didn´t say there is no bridge...
We had dinner up into the mountains
Two weeks MTB vacation
Re: Two weeks MTB vacation
Second week we went from Alp Mountains to former East Germany where there is another mountain area. There is the highest mountain of East Germany, the "Brocken" where the Russians had a radio and Radar spy station.
First we did Europa longest zipline ride
Nice restored East German Army ("NVA") Tatra truck East German Border pole former German/German border fence with guard tower Took a trip with a steam locomotive train On top of the "Brocken" mountain at 1.100meters Lunch Bridgeford FSR sandwich Castle "Wernigerode" Former mine It´s off road Dinner "somewhere" The lentils stew I bought in Kentucky meetup at Bobs company. I really like it, I promoted it to one of my personal favorites. Mexican chicken stew and garlic mashed potato The 2008 mashed potato were "sour"
