Dec 14th to 17th I went to Belgium to participate the celebrations of the "Battle of the Bulge" in 1944.
You could see nice vehicles and dressed participants A by Germans knocked out Sherman at the market place Visited the Airborne Museum the first day

Next stop over was the Bastogne War Museum

Next day we went to see the fox holes of Easy company at Foy you may know from the show "Band of brothers":
Close up to those of you who are familiar with the history/show of the Band of Brothers, note their names "Webb" and "Penkala"
We walked the way they have walked
To finde their foxholes that are still there even after 73 years

Next was the US attack on Foy:

Next event was "Nut´s Day" at Bastogne Barracks
Bastogne Barracks and a living history "display" at the village of Hardigny:

Speaking of, Belgium is a nice place to eat
...and having a hot cocoa at the Christmas Market in Bastogne next to the church

Thanks for sharing housil! Didn't even knew there was a war museum in bastgone and 101 st airborne museum, must go there someday
