True, but I'd only buy it on Steam if it's on sale. $20 seems a bit too steep, especially for a game that almost 15 years old. This weekend, there was a server playing the original AAS maps. It had about 60 players on and it was a blast! People do definitely still play it, but mostly on the weekends. Weekdays, it can be pretty dead sometimes. I still can't recommend it enough mostly because it's so tactical yet has an easy learning curve. Not to mention the huge maps and the colorful graphics.
