Hi Everyone -
I just joined the forum - new to the MRE world. I became interested in them while stumbling across a Steve1989 video on youtube - the dude is funny! I have been watching them 24/7 for over a month and figured I would take a shot at learning more and/or "sampling" a few. I like to hunt, fish, shoot, camp, etc so it's a natural extension of my hobbies.
Anyway, just wanted to say hi and throw out a quick story and let some folks know I'm ISO HDR's. My mom works for a contractor of the World Food Program and she's currently in Africa (South Sudan/Uganda) helping provide humanitarian relief for the ongoing civil war in S. Sudan. I think giving her a couple of HDR's would be a cool Christmas gift (right up her alley) but they seem to be a rare item!
Look forward to keeping in touch with some of you and learning more. Thanks for reading!

I did the same thing, after his review on the French ration I was hooked. I spent 12 years as a cook in the army and never saw food like that, especially in a MRE. Now I'm here and waiting for my first package of European rations to arrive!
