That cheese spread (Bacon too) is the best. You can do so much with it to fix up other components
Chili, stews, sausage gravy and crackers, love that cheese melted into the mix :D
The Jalapeno cheese and Bacon Cheese packets are one area where the U.S. MRE has it over it's peers from other nations

I have always loved all the mre cheeses..my wife thinks I,m crazy for snacking in front of the tv with a 5-7 yr old mre cheese...as it gets older it starts to take on a sort of blue cheese kind of tang to it, it great! That cartoon is so spot on, brings back memories lol....

Actually I would trade the Jalapeno Cheese Spread for the Skittles. I do not like hot food and this Cheese Spread is too much for me. :D

Hahaha. I love Terminal Lance. Some of his comics kind of hit home though and bring back the memories. Lol.
