I love "food talk" and we do it all the time about rations, but what do you guys cook at home?
Let me start a quick review (some may have seen on my Facebook page) what I have cooked from scratch that week.
Turkey haunch, potato dumplings and red cabbage
So grand daughter, how do you rate my dinner?

Housil's turkey dish looks great.
I just got through plating up and chowing down some Lamb Saag that I ran up this afternoon. [spicy Indian curry type thing- lamb chunks stewed up with spinach and potatoes]

Housil
That looks delicious and is very well done tutorial. I enjoy seeing cooking methods laided out with photos of the steps and what the ingredients are.
The next time a cook a duck I will post some photos

Re: Home cooking
I made a batch of Beef Bourguignon this afternoon , That's Beef Stew to all you peasants...
Beef, potato's, onion, garlic, carrots and mushrooms.
And a bottle of red wine
Most for the pot, but some for the cook.
I surprised myself (and my wife) , it was quite good
