I was sitting with my cousins watching the original sci-fi movie "The Island"----where Michael Caine's character and his son are stranded on an island that was taken over by 18th century pirates transported into the 20th century after sailing into the Bermuda Triangle. All is well and we're trying desperately to stay awake to get thru the entire movie (yes that bad), when my cousin tosses a bag of M&Ms in my lap and says "remember these?" Alas I cannot take pictures to post, but they were the large size M&Ms in which each individual M&M was a larger size than normal. They must not have been very popular and I have no idea where he came across them although he claims ebay, but I'm still vertical after eating them on Sunday night. Does anyone recall them? BTW Michael Caine fans need to avoid this movie like a puddle of liquid Sarin in bare feet----definately not one of his better roles and typical early-mid 1980s sci-fi.
