TurtleNomad,
Do NOT use duct tape. Tape needs to be clear for "security reasons" I am told. The customs form you will need is the bigger white one 2976-A available in the cubby holes usually, for Express Mail you will need the express mail label also. Fill out the customs form completely before you get to the PO "for fast service" and you must go to the clerk and present your package. If you cannot fit it all into the Large flat rate box use your own packaging, shipping will be based on weight NOT size they only have a max. size if you go over that then it gets really expensive but you do not need to worry about that. Express Mail will be alot more $$ stick with USPS Priority Mail. My personal experience is it takes 2 weeks at least for packages to be delivered overseas.

You saved me a big headache on the duct tape.

Thanks Adrian and cavguy for the form name!

Ok, I'm now planning to just do the large flatrate box, but when I get there, I'll ask (purely for future reference) what cheaper options exist.
The important thing is the spices.

Re: Stupid postal regulations
Just asking, anyone can help me? I sent a parcel to Yowie, non-airmail, and I need to know how much time will take to arrive from Europe to Australia. Also, 'cause I have to pay my "debts" to NNF and TurtleNomad, also to send a parcel to Bypah, is any restrictions or delays to US? My last "out of Europe" parcel, to Bypah, take 3 months to arrive.
Not counting parcels to Nicodim, in central Siberia, took only 3 weeks. I think Russian Post feed very good vodka to their reindeers.

Re: Stupid postal regulations
Man do I have a stupid postal regulation to present to you guys.
Enter the PACT Act, a bill that was signed into law by our nicotine huffing president in 2010, effectively makes it illegal to sell and ship cigarettes and other smokeless tobacco (excluding cigars) through USPS.
You cannot sell tobacco even if the tax has been paid, without being registered with the BATFE and reporting all sales.
If you are found doing this, the punishment ranges from a $5,000-$10,000 fine and or 3 years in jail.
All in the name of collecting taxes...sending people to jail over fags. Lovely.
