Awesome show

Post by rationtin440 » Sun Jul 01, 2012 9:35 pm

I went with a couple friends to see Alice Cooper and Iron Maiden on tuesday night, 6/26, at the Comcast Center in Mansfield, MA. Cooper put on a good show, but Maiden was by far the best! Bruce was his usual energized self, and really had the audience pumped. My cell phone pics did not come out well, but the music was awesome as can be expected, some from every major album over the decades. Great show!

Cool pics, Bypah! I recall a fascinating story a few years ago, about Dave Murray and Adrian Smith being somewhere here in the U.S., and they met Dewey Bunnell and Gerry Beckley from America, and they did some informal jamming. I'm not saying I believe it because crazy rumors have a way of getting around, just like Toby Keith meeting Bruce Dickinson in Texas during Maiden's last U.S. tour.

Yes, I've checked out that site as well, pretty cool! One thing that has always amused me is when some church groups go on an anti-heavy metal crusade, Maiden being one of their favorite targets, and yet Nicko is a Christian and plays drums at the Spanish River church in Boca Rato, Florida when he's home. Not only that but Adrian Smith and his wife are heavily involved in a Christian charity called "MaidenFlight" which advocates for patients rights and even helps get patients the treatment they need around the world.
